Keith, the youngest son of Keating Development president Joseph Keating, founded the firm with his father and brother Kevin in the early 1990s. As co-executive vice president, Keith is responsible for all operations, including land development, financing, sales and marketing.

Keith was instrumental in helping to successfully reposition the family business and venture into new markets, including downtown Chicago and Romeoville, where Keating Development has built three major subdivisions in a row.

Keith also serves as president of KMK Realty & Development, Inc., which handles all home sales for Keating Development. Additionally, he is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois and Florida, and is a licensed mortgage broker, registered appraiser and real estate instructor in Florida.

Keith was city chapter president of the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago in 2003. Today, he proudly serves as a board member of the Attainable Housing Alliance, a public advocacy group that works to represent the housing industry in the Chicagoland region on public policy issues that affect housing attainability and ownership.

Keith holds a bachelor's degree in real estate finance from Florida Atlantic University. Recently married and residing in Chicago, Keith's favorite pastimes are basketball, softball, boating and snow skiing.
